The shop currently has 3 folks working on instruments
BARI LITSCHAUER, shop owner and chief bottle washer, is the lead person for complicated or unusual electronics work. She also does set-up work & general maintenance on any instrument as well as being the shop’s quality control person.
ERIC WURM started at the shop in 2018 as an apprentice. He has a great eye for detail & has spent a lot of time learning to do repairs & set-up work by building 3 acoustic instruments under Ashley’s tutelage. He comes to the shop with a unique skill set as a knife maker. You might catch his custom blades & handles at one of the weekend merchants markets.
ASHLEY DAVIS is our wood specialist who is the lead person for broken head stocks, fretwork, routing, loose braces etc. He also does set up work, pickup installs and general maintenance of electronics. See some of his work below.
